At that same Hawaiian sales staff conference where the video was shown of Steve Jobs impersonating FDR, there was also this. It’s called Bluebusters, and it’s four minutes of Apple staff spoofing Ghostbusters.
If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, Apple should be feeling mighty proud tonight. Because Microsoft just unveiled its own touchscreen “Surface” tablet computer, and everything about the device and the media event where it was announced took its cues straight from Apple and the iPad.
Apple receives — and deserves — a lot of respect. They’re absolutely incredible innovators… But were they really the first to envision, manufacture, or sell many of the tech products we take for granted today?
