The Most Shopped Gadget On eBay: The iPhone 4

December 29, 2010 by Tanner Godarzi 1 Comment

eBay has compiled a list of the top 10 hottest selling items for 2010. Apple not only tops the list, but appears twice.

According to eBay the iPhone 4 was the most hopped gadget in 2010 generating over 1.6 million related sales. The iPad came in at number 5 on the list generating 600,000 related sales. eBay’s definition of a related sale is a selling item that contains the keyword (in this case either ‘iPad’ or ‘iPhone’) in its auction title. This could encompass anything from accessories to the actual device itself.

eBay’s top 10 most shopped items:

iPhone 4
Barbie
Military jackets
Hot Wheels
iPad
World Cup
The Beatles
Silly Bandz
Alice in Wonderland
New Orleans Saints
Marc Jacobs
LeBron James
