Have you ever wanted an Apple TV but just couldn’t justify buying a new one? For what it’s worth, while the Apple TV is not that expensive – compared to other Apple devices, that is – its price is still nothing to scoff at. As much as I love shiny new Apple gadgets, I can think of a lot of other things I can buy for $99.
Then again, with Apple’s ongoing promotion, you can make some savings – sort of.
As the Apple TV page says, you’re going to need more popcorn. Or crisps. Or whatever you like munching on while watching your favorite TV shows or movies.
If you purchase a new Apple TV – new because refurbished units do not count – you get a $25 iTunes Gift Card. That’s not a direct discount on the device price, sure, but the chance are that you are going to spend money on content anyway, so I guess it’s fair to say that you’re making some savings by buying a new Apple TV.
