New WWDC image makes Conference focus clear

The image above is the latest image from Apple in relation to WWDC 2008, and it makes it very clear on what to expect at the World Wide Developer’s Conference this year. While Mac development is, of course, important – the obvious focus this year is going to be on iPhone.

I mean – look at it – the iPhone is literally sitting in front of a Macbook Air. The message is clear there, but made clearer still on the WWDC main page. The page lists Three Tracks to innovation, and the very first track is not the Mac…it’s the iPhone.

On top of that, almost every image on the page is either an iPhone, or has an iPhone in it. So it’s pretty safe to say…the focus is on where to go with the iPhone…and I, for one, am very excited to see just where they take us.
