Clean Your Screen in One Swipe With iPhone Case i-Wipe

As much as I use my iPhone and (probably) can’t live without it, there is one thing that bugs me: the screen that gets dirty faster than I can expand my city in SIMCITY BUILDIT. Yeah, I kind of regret installing it, but play it nonetheless.

Though the screen has proven to be tough and even sweat-proof, I find it irritating to see fingerprint marks all the time – even after a few minutes of cleaning it. And, even if I make sure not to touch it with oily hands, smudges still show up.

iPhone user problems…not really a serious problem, but an irritant still.

Enter i-Wipe, a new iPhone case that promises to keep your screen smudge-free with a single swipe – without needing any special cloth or spray.

I-Wipe is the creation of Valerio Rossi & Roberto Porcelli, who claim that their innovative product will keep your iPhone smudge-free without any hassle.

The iPhone case is similar in looks to many wallet/flip cases in the market – with one distinctive feature: the wiper.

The wiper is “a slider covered in a special microfiber fabric with a high capacity for antistatic and non-scratching cleaning and which allows you to keep your smartphone constantly clean with one simple movement.

The wiper is integrated into the case cover. The side which is in contact with the phone’s screen is made of microfiber that is anti-static and anti-scratch.

The iPhone case itself is made of:

  • PU leather: the most requested type on the market for its versatility
  • Genuine leather: characteristically assertive and elegant
  • EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate): environmentally friendly and very lightweight combined with resistance and durability

To be honest, I am not a fan of wallet cases, but for those who are, this may be a good solution.

I-Wipe is on Kickstarter at the moment, with the goal of delivering by April 2016. If you’re interested, you can back them below.
