The city of Cupertino has released some detailed floor plans and artist renders of the planned new Apple campus that’s been dubbed the “Mothership,” because of its massive, circular, wheel-like footprint. I captured some super-high-res screenshots of the renders, and they are jaw-droppingly gorgeous.

Apple’s new Cupertino, California headquarters building is expected to be completed by 2015. The building is said to be bigger than the Pentagon at nearly a mile in circumference, covering 2.8 million square feet and 175 acres of land.

  1. Very minimalist in feel, simple in form. Definitely the working ambiance in those offices looking out of those huge glass facades should be something quite comfortable and dreamy, providing an atmosphere to create. A bit too even in scale throughout, but hey…this is apple!
