Protect Your iPhone XR In Style With These Thin Totallee Cases

We at AppleGazette are no strangers to Totallee iPhone cases, and when I got my hands on the iPhone XR, I couldn’t wait to try their new line of thin cases.

Just like most iPhone users, I’ve got two major concerns when it comes to iPhone cases:

  1. Protection
  2. Keeping it sexy

Let’s dive right into things…

I received three Totallee cases for review for the iPhone XR – a clear case, a matte one, and a black case.

From the get-go, the clear case was my pick. I tend to go for clear cases for the simple reason that iPhones are as sexy as they come, and I don’t really want a case to get in the way of aesthetics. With the (RED) iPhone XR, that point is even more important.

This clear case is soft, so it gives me the grip I need whilst providing ample protection from bumps and scratches. It’s my go-to case for everyday use. If you like your iPhone naked but are concerned about scratches and accidental damage (oh, I hate that term!), then this Totallee soft clear case is a good choice.

The frosted black case was a very pleasant surprise. I didn’t think I would like it – it’s black. It covers the red. But, the moment I put the case on, I knew I was going to use it more than I initially thought.

As you can see, the black does cover the red back of the phone, but it gives a wonderful contrast with what color it lets show. It’s somehow reminiscent of Ferrari colors (just add a splash of yellow, and it’s perfect). The one downside I’m experiencing is that this case doesn’t give as much grip as the soft clear case does. With small hands and the tendency to be clumsy, this can be a problem at times.

The last case is a happy medium. If you’re really dead-set against dark colors but don’t want a totally clear case, then the matte frosted clear case will suit you. It’s made just like the frosted black case except that it’s white and allows the iPhone XR’s color to shine through (albeit a tad dull).

Bottom line?

These three cases match different moods, and I’m happy to have the options. For maximum protection, though, I recommend the soft clear case.

Totallee offers thin cases for other iPhone models. Check them out here. And, if you’re looking for tempered glass screen protectors (I used to ignore these things, but I’ve learned their usefulness the hard way), you can also get one to match your Totallee thin case.
