The guys at the Apple store were very helpful and I am now blogging this from my new iPhone. I just wanted to give you guys a quick update…I’ll have more to say on it later. Man, this thing is fantastic… 🙂

At&t was no help, but Apple was much better. I’m on my way to the closest Apple store in Austin. It’s a 4 hour round trip drive, but I should have a new iPhone before the end of the day.
Well, the lady that told me that she’d take care of the iPhone problem this morning was wrong, because At&t cannot and will not do anything to help you with a defective or DOA product. They don’t tell you this when you purchase the $600 product at their store, of course, and apparently they didn’t […]
I don’t know if it’s just my iPhone, or what, but the video on my iPhone looks so bad it’s completely unwatchable. It looks like it’s displaying 256 colors or something. The video looks like a badly compressed JPEG. In fact, so do my photos. I don’t know what the problem is, but this is […]
Just a quick note…iTunes 7.3 has been released. You’ll need it to activate your iPhone. Not sure about new features. If you have any info please leave it in the comments below. The wait continues….
Well, the lines are starting to form here, so I’m heading off to wait. I don’t think I’ll have ‘net access once I get there, so the next time you hear from me I should have an iPhone in hand. If there is any kind of Wi-Fi access once I get there I’ll post throughout […]

So, as regular readers may know – I like making predictions. I don’t always get them right…I was REAL wrong about WWDC this year…but it’s fun to speculate about what we’ll see in the future. Hell, that’s half the fun of blogging. Still, none of this is “insider” info or from “a well placed Apple […]
Apple issues a press release this morning laying down the law on how the purchasing of iPhones are going to be handled at Apple Store locations: All 164 Apple retail stores in the US will stay open until midnight, and customers can purchase up to two iPhones on a first come, first served basis. Beginning […]
Sending large files to your friends can be a real pain. Just try emailing your friend a 20 mb files. Or 100 mb. Or 1 Gb. It ain’t gonna happen. But…if your friend is a Mac user, it’s no problem at all. In iChat, you can send files very easily. Just got to: Buddies > […]

The iPhone tutorial videos continue to roll out. This latest one is a demonstration of the Keyboard functions. I have to say, the keyboard looks really good to me. This video goes a long way in explaining the “trust the keyboard” message that we’ve been hearing. I think it’s going to take some getting used […]
Hey LOOK! It’s a story that isn’t about the iPhone!!!! Savor it…it may be the only one for a while…. When you connect your Windows machine via you home network in Leopard, you’ll be able to see it on your Mac in the new Finder just like it was a local drive. You even get […]
Major media outlets from all over are joining in on the iPhone promotion. I hesitate to call it hype anymore, because all of these reviews seem to say the same thing. The iPhone – apparently – lives up to the hype. The Wall Street Journal Says: “Our verdict is that, despite some flaws and feature […]
